28 Feb Evoke XXXI: Into the Void
by Ted Yavuzkurt [Revenant Prime]

It’s unusual that an exhibition theme so perfectly captures the spirit of the group conscience. The past few years witnessed life imposing a new set of strictures and constraints on each Evoke member. As we realized that many of us were no longer “young artists” with unlimited time and freedom to contribute to the collective, we wondered what could be done to preserve the beauty, vitality, and creativity that Evoke represented for so long.

This was not an easy process. This group means much to many. To see Evoke go through such a precarious transition was akin to watching the slow descent of a loved one into an unknown illness. Uncertainty and fear dogged our footsteps as the members decided what to do.

We realized that, in order to preserve the collective, a fundamental change must occur. Effective immediately, Evoke will no longer be releasing art as “packs” but will release pieces as they are crafted. This means there...

09 Aug Evoke XXX: Flow!
by Anthony Gargasz [anthonygargasz]

After a copious amount of preparation we are proud to present you with our 30th exhibition: Flow. Since this release would be a significant landmark for EvokeOne we really wanted our artists to express their individual creativity to the absolute fullest. Flow was interpretted as a reflection of the creative process, or "flow", that we all experience. This expanded into concepts as diverse as quantum physics, expressive portraits, spiritual beings, and fluid dynamics.

Loaded with brilliant collaborative efforts, experimental art, and creative spirit, Flow is a paragon of what EvokeOne is made of, as well as a proud example of what can be accomplished when beautiful minds work together. We are proud to have Kosovo based Vigan Tafili as our featured artist of the exhibition. He expressed undiluted creativity, and continues to inspire the community with his digital painting.

On behalf of EvokeOne, I truly hope you enjoy this display of...

21 Dec Evoke XXIX: The End!
by Brandon Spahn [Vo1ture]

After months of determination, we are proud to present Evoke's 29th exhibition, The End. The End brings a dark and inspiring variety of art, music, and photography. We released this exhibition on the day the Mayan calendar ends, a day predicted to signify the termination of the world as we know it. Feelings of death, rage, gloom, and bereavement are scattered throughout the artwork.

Our featured artist, Parker Gibson, produced some truly outstanding collaborations and solo works for this release. He stuck with his roots, creating art that displays his rough sketch style through paint splatters and quick strokes. Howard Winterson is another dominant force in the exhibition. He crafts your imagination by his use of bold shapes, vivid colors, and detailed patterns. Long-time member Ricardo collaborated on several pieces, helping to push our newer artists to their maximum potential. Many recent recruits also contributed to the success of...
